Note: at 3.5 oz, this is relatively lightweight compared to our most popular buckles — for a buckle with more heft we recommend our most popular 5.5 oz FURY and 6 oz FEROCIOUS belts. The Fury has the same super-compact height and width as the Phantom, with a little more depth.

Our new customers regularly report how remarkably comfortable even our heaviest buckles are and how surprised they are that they don’t notice the weight at all — as attested to by many who have worn them daily for years and even decades.  Even so, if you are not needing a buckle that is in the optimal weight range for high-powered belt play or target practice, and are simply looking for an extremely durable, comfortable and great looking lightweight belt, the Phantom is an excellent choice.

Note: The photos don’t show this, but we now individually brush the bolt and prong heads before we install them, so that they complement the brushed buckle finish.

The photos above show alternative nylon color and pattern combinations. The patterned and red webbings are all strong and durable, but not in the same class as our custom high-density black/brown ballistic nylon. They will all last a long time but are not expected to go as long as the ballistic nylon before showing signs of fraying (replacement straps can be ordered from us should you wish to replace it or switch webbing type at any time in the future.)
