Inspired by the round granite hills and rocks of the Motopos (“bald heads”) in Zimbabwe’s Matabo National Park, this finish involves hammering the entire face and sides of the buckle.
As a newer embellishment, prior to installation, the bolt and prong heads are also individually hammered to complement the buckle face — a difficult process given the hardness and roundness of the stainless steel bolt heads. This effect can be seen in a few of the photos below.

The golden hues of brass can be polished bright or worn until a deep, dark patina forms. Artisan Crafted in USA.
