SIEGE Ferocious Buckle (brushed Gray Man finish), 1.5″ ballistic Nylon, black side out:
About the Gray Man — our best selling finish and a tremendous value: Read more . . .
This durable, unobtrusive finish is a customer favorite — a popular choice for everyday-carry and travel. Each hand-crafted belt and buckle with the Gray Man finish takes over two hours to complete.
This a fantastic value for a custom crafted belt, and especially so considering that it will last a lifetime and soon pay for itself in avoided replacement costs. Quality leather belts can be worn casually for years, but they will soon look unsuitable for work or an evening out, with the leather cracking, wrinkling, warping, and with stretched holes and deep creases where the buckle meets the leather, as well as the buckle’s patina or chrome wearing through — all this in mere months. For business, entertaining, dining, etc. leather belts need to be replaced more frequently. A fair quality leather belt can cost around $70 and a premium leather dress or gun belt can range between $120 and $300, and these are belts without detailed leatherwork, and nothing more elaborate than a simple pin buckle or utility buckle.
Our super comfortable, flexible, lightweight, high-grip, high-density custom ballistic nylon will over time shape itself to conform to the wearer, but unlike conventional nylon or leather, will not stretch in any meaningful way, even after many years of use. Leather does not meet our standards, and soon shows signs of wear. In addition, it is not flexible enough to get a tight wrap, and will easily slip in one’s hand. Unlike leather and many buckles, our webbing and solid stainless/brass buckles are also amphibious and designed to handle salt water activity.
Siege Belts are a labor of love. Hours of work go into crafting each belt, with over 35 procedures to make just one buckle. Considering the craftsmanship and the time it takes to make a Siege belt, they are a phenomenal value. Given the buckles’ imperishability, and collectible nature, in the future our customers’ belts could be worth much more than what was paid for them. This is already the case for belts that our late mentor sold before he ceased production.
Your belt and stove orders will be supporting a family-owned and operated small business that is committed to keeping all production in the USA, and in return you can be confident that you will be receiving uniquely functional, comfortable, and attractive products that we stand behind and that you will be able to use and treasure for a lifetime and hand down for generations.
