New black variation on the popular Fury Buckle!

This is a new release of our Black Ops Fury buckle, with the face of the buckle annealed black. 

Note: The Black Ops finish is a great look (black goes with anything!), but if you want a “beater belt” for target practice, consider also getting one of our Gray Man finish belts, such as the regular Fury or Ferocious belt. Missing or deflecting off a target object and impacting a hard surface such as a rock will mar any buckle (and therefore should be avoided), but the results will be much less noticeable on the Gray Man buckles (and can usually be sanded smooth). While the annealed black on the Black Ops edition is lasting, if it gets knocked around, shiny dings and scratches will be more evident through the black surface.
(having more than one belt also adds dress options: after experiencing the comfort and confidence of wearing a SIEGE Belt, many of our customers add to their EDC variety — for example one might have a standard buckle with a 1.25″ strap, and a large or oval buckle with a 1.5″ strap, one with the strap black side out and the other with brown out, as well as a few different buckle finishes).

Creating the black surface requires time and patience. We slowly anneal the buckle face for over an hour and also anneal the bolt and prong heads separately prior to installing them. The buckle has an appealing transition at the edge of the chamfer from black to stainless steel colored sides, with the overall effect a very attractive dark buckle. At some angles to a light source subtle colors may be evident in the black finish as a result of crystalline structures that the annealing creates on the buckle surface.
