Inspired by the golden hues of Kenya’s Tsavo National Park, the warm luster of brass can be worn until a deep, dark patina forms or polished at any time to a brilliant golden hue. Brighten your day with this luxurious belt, as you go about your routine, or roam on your travels with the confidence of a lion striding through the long Elephant grasses of the Tsavo.

This premiere finish involves painstaking hammering of the entire face and sides of the buckle.

NEW EDITION!: we now spend a lot more time working on several new refinements for each buckle, and have updated them with a compelling new look. The stainless steel bolt and prong heads are now individually sculpted to complement the buckle face, and then fire-colored to a rich copper hue (the copper color of the heads can be expected to lighten over time as the oxide layer is rubbed, depending on how much handling they experience). We also now hammer around the sides and front chamfer of the buckle. In addition, we round the corners of the buckle and create larger chamfers around the front and back. The prongs, bolts and nuts at the back are polished smooth to minimize any wear on the strap. Lastly, we add our logo and a serial number to the back of the buckle. The photos in the gallery below show older editions of the buckle — to get an idea of the new look, see our similar Namib belt (unlike this Tsavo belt the crests of the hammered indents are sanded for the Namib). These new refinements will also be applied to our more compact Motopos belt buckle.
