Our premier finish on stainless steel buckles: The buckle is meticulously hammered, and the rims around the indents carefully sanded flat from various directions to produce a shimmering effect as light dances across the face of the buckle.
New embellishment (not depicted in the photos): prior to installation, the bolt and prong heads are also individually hammered to complement the buckle face (not an easy task given how hard, round, and small the heads are — causing the tool to glance off if it isn’t close to tangency with the area being struck).

This finish was inspired by high-altitude views of the meeting of the Kalahari and Namib deserts, where sun baked, wind-swept sands of the Namib blend into the flat-topped mesas of the Western Kalahari.
